Hi - I am in need of an Implant on my front tooth and have been searching what feels like hundreds of sites for dentists in Hungary/Red sea/Pluto to try and get the best service and best price. I am 25 and very very hard up for cash, but of course dont want to compromise on quality.
This dentist seems very good and i am almost persuaded -
Please can anyone tell me if there are extra costs that may not be mentioned on the website - and if you have had implants done on your front teeth how you feel about the results.
I am scared enough about the procedure and the financial implications without having to go through it all again in a few years.

Hi Cat,
Both my wife and I had treatment at Fedasz and then my wife and daughter went back for more. The treatment is superb and better than anything I have experienced in UK. They make you feel important which does not happen here. If you have doubts about the treatment form a professional point, don't worry (see my contribution following treatment 'Hungary for a nice smile'. As far as cost is involved, what you are quoted is what you pay - the only rider being that an accurate cost is only possible on actual examination - for obvious reasons. They are not cowboys in this respect, and they treated us very fairly.
I did find that some expenditure was negotiable when I was there.

I need an implant in the second to back tooth that was broken by accident. Crowns made for the teeth in front of it and behind have popped of two times showing decay. All of this needs to be repaired plus more due to tissue recession - the old crowns were lined with metal and the decay did not show on the yearly x-rays.

Your experience is important for me to know about as well as the cost. I was thinking of sending them my doctor's plans which are required for insurance - even Aflac will not pay for pre-existing conditions so, who knows?

There is more too so I am really worried or considering having the tissue grafting done in the states - it is so expensive - total $10,000.00 (the cost is 95% doctor charges not materials) - so I wonder if they are prepared to do that much work at once; however, I believe the implants and crowns will be terrific considering the porcelain manufacturing and workmanship, pride of their people and beautiful quality of porcelain perfected.

From the books I have read, it appears the people of this country have a great sense of personal and national pride. I previously read a few books about a factory called Herend in the area and the trials of the last few centuries for all plus, their factory fires, war, and now the plant is rebuilt with a beautiful museum. We have had enough of sadness since coming to this country and really want something to smile about. Maybe getting the teeth work done and visting historic places, the Herend factory and meeting great people.

So I say: Do it and let me know how it goes, please?

I can only relate the experiences of myself and my family. The standard of workmanship at Fedasz is second to none and their laboratory, which is an integral part of the clinic, has the latest technology.
I am not a dental technician so I cannot pass judgement on the treatment you may need, but in your position I would certainly send your dental x-rays etc to them, for their evaluation, the treatment is usually cheaper, and in my case certainly better than anything I have had in the UK.
On a personal level the country is beautiful, the people are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The treatment is always completed in the shortest time possible, whilst keeping in mind the comfort of the patient.
The whole experience was a pleasant surprise to me and I would not hesitate to revisit should the need occur.
NOTE: Ask them the questions - you don't have to commit to anything until you're happy with the answers!

Hello all seeking dental treatment, myself and my wife returned from Fedasz Clinic in january having had extensive treatment don, I myself had 26 ceramic crowns and 3 root canals, my wife had 6 implants plus additional periodontal work done, not only did we both save money, but we were givin back our smile, the Dentists at Fedasz are highly professional people, right down to the Hotel itself and the people working there, all wonderful people, Dr Jozsef was my dentist, he did not speak too much english, however your Hostess Marietta was available for all appointments and translated everything to Dr Jozsef, he made you feel very comfortable and his work is second to none, Not only does Marietta host the guests at Fedasz, she is also a very professional dental technician, she made my crowns to give me back my smile, we both spent 12 days there on both visits, and pain was about 30 mins of 12 days each time, no pain no gain, and trust me the Doctors make it all very bearable, I would like to thank all of the Dentists and staff at Fedasz for doing such a great job, also to Dr Gabor who took great care of my wifes treatment, I would go back to Fedasz in a heartbeat, and would certainly recomend Fedasz Clinic to all people seeking dental treatment abroad, please feel free to contact me at any time regarding Fedasz.
